The year 1967 was the third successful year of sales and record production for Cadillac. During this year, Cadillac's standards were high once again with an extensive restyling of the new models. Let’s take a look at the models for this year and what buyers could expect in a Cadillac luxury car.
Next, we take a look at the 1955 Corvette.
Known for its effortless driving ease through traffic and its smooth Powerglide automatic transmission, the 1955 Corvette turned heads everywhere it was seen. It was characterized by its sports car suspension, fast acceleration, and quicksilver smoothness. With two engine offerings, buyers could get the power they wanted.
The 1955 Corvette featured the traditional range selector of the Safety-Shift pattern, which was a central, floor-mounted, manual selector for Low Range gear. The Powerglide feature offered a balanced rear axle ratio for split-second shifting between ranges and smoothness in all road conditions. The rear deck of the Corvette was sleek in design, but offered a large luggage compartment. The spare tire was fitted under the floor to give more space, and a radio antenna was built into the deck lid

1967 Cadillac Fleetwood Series
The most luxurious series of the 1967 Cadillac was the Fleetwood. This series included the Sixty Special Sedan, the Brougham, the Eldorado, the Seventy-Five Sedan, and Limousine.
